THE TILE SOURCE's solutions for wet rooms
Any tile is suitable for a wet room installation, although if using mosaics on the floor the minimum size for the Marmox Showerlay, Marmox board and Schluter DITRA matting is 50x50mm. There are no restrictions on mosaic size for the wall. When choosing the grout for your wet room use one of our polymer modified grouts from BAL, Ardex or Biscem. These grouts are more water resistant and are more resilient to the force of water that some power showers can generate. If your wet room receives a lot of continued use or if your water supply is slightly acidic you may wish to consider epoxy grouts.
