Ardex Arditex NA

Underfloor heating mats are commonly bedded directly into flexible tile adhesives. While this fixing method works it has several inherent problems, notably:
  • It is easy to leave voids round cables which can result in cable overheating and eventual mat failure.
  • Using expensive tile adhesive is not cost effective.
  • It is very difficult for the tiler to create a smooth surface to fix tiles too. This often leads to an uneven tile surface.
  • Using tile adhesive wastes a lot of the tiler's time, and costs money!
Instead of bedding cables in adhesive using Ardex Arditex NA gives the following advantages:
  • It's free flowing characteristic means there will be no voids left round cables reducing the risk of mat failure and improving the dispersion of heat.
  • It is very quick and easy to apply which saves the tiler's time and the customer money!
  • It provides an extremely flat and smooth surface to tile too.
  • The advanced Ardex formulation is ammonia free so there are no nasty niffs!
  • Can be walked on within a couple of hours.
