Marmox Tile Backer, Underfloor Heating Insulation and wet room solution boards
Marmox Tile Backer Boards are ideal for two primary purposes; as a superior waterproof surface to fix wall or floor tiles and as a first class heat insulation for underfloor heating systems. Marmox insulation boards are particularly suited to underfloor and under tile heating applications. Installation below Magnum enerCable, enerMat and enerFoil on an existing un-insulated concrete or timber sub-floor will greatly reduce heat up time and running costs.

Plaster, plywood, floorboards and many other surfaces are either unsuitable for fixing tiles too (plywood in particular is not a good surface to tile too) or have limited uses. Check the Wall preparation guide and floor preparation guide for more details.

Marmox Curved boards are available from stock in 1250x600x20mm and are ideal to form curved profiles for arches, columns or spiral entries to shower enclosures.
Marmox Angle board is designed to hide unsightly pipework. It has an installed price much lower than fabricating boxing-in and covering with plasterboard and has the added advantage of also being waterproof. Marmox Angle board is supplied in 2.5m lengths made of 20mm board in the following widths:
Marmox Showerlay provides a very cost effective way of create the ideal wet room system. The tray itself is waterproof and can be tiled with mosaics no smaller than 50x50mm in size.

SUPA PRO Wedgie Board is a high performance fully waterproof tile backer board made to falls. Made by Marmox exclusively for SUPA PRO the board provides a self-draining fall of 1 in 52 over 1200mm (the board tapers from 33mm to 10mm).
The Wedgie board can be used to create falls in commercial showers, pool surrounds, balconies and domestic showers. With no wet trades the Wedgie board can be laid and tiling started immediately. The consistent fall guarantees that no pooling will occuron the floor and the surface can be completely tanked, with the simple application of waterproofing tape, to prevent water ingress into the substrate.
